DC Universe renews Titans for Season 2 ahead of Season 1 debut

  • EP Geoff Johns says the season is already “mapped out” including what new characters will be introduced; also said it will be less of a “conventional procedural show and more of a 12-hour movie”
  • ComicBook.com – EP Akiva Goldsman says they had a loose plan for first 3 seasons in early development

Matt Bomer (Magic Mike, The Nice Guys, Superman: Unbound) cast in Doom Patrol – (Variety)

  • Will provide the voice of Negative Man and appear as Larry Trainor in flashbacks

Jennifer Beals (The L Word) cast as Sheriff Lucilia Cable in Swamp Thing for DC Universe

  • Will be a recurring role
  • Character description – “tough as nails and pragmatic, Cable’s fierce devotion to her son, Matt, is rivaled only by her sworn duty to serve and protect the town of Marais. As the community she has dedicated her life to defending is beset by strange forces, she must double down in her efforts to safeguard everyone she holds dear.”

Voice cast announced for Harley Quinn Animated Series – (The Hollywood Reporter)

  • Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory) will executive produce and voice the role of Harley Quinn; Margot Robbie was asked but unavailable
  • Other cast includes Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Diedrich Bader, Tony Hale and Chris Meloni
