CBS puts a Secret Six television series into development – Variety

  • CBS has committed to Pilot production, Rick Muirragui (Suits) will write and EP
  • Show description – “The project,…follows six morally ambiguous strangers, each with their own unique specialties and secret pasts. They are brought together by an enigmatic figure who blackmails them into working as a team to expose the corruption of the corporate and political elite.”
  • 2005 version of team by Gail Simone is arguably most well-known; team consisted of Catman, Deadshot, Cheshire, Ragdoll, Scandal Savage, and Mad Hatter

First look at Ruby Rose suited up as Batwoman for The CW- (Twitter)

  • Will first appear in “Elseworlds”
  • (Deadline) CW President Mark Pedowitz said in August they would do a pilot in Midseason

First look at Lobo in Krypton from actor Emmett Scanlan on Instagram

  • Will be recurring in Season 2
  • DC Universe will add Krypton in 2019 (season 1?) (Twitter)

Comics

DC announces new Wonder Comics imprint for younger readers led by Brian Michael Bendis

  • Bendis will write Young Justice featuring Tim Drake Robin, Connor Kent Superboy, Impulse and new characters like Ginny Hex (Jonah’s descendent) and Teen Lantern (Bolivian girl who hacked GL’s power battery)
  • The imprint also will return Wonder Twins and Dial H for Hero
  • New series Naomi
  • Will debut in January 2019
