Sequel to Aquaman scheduled for December 16, 2022 by WB – (Deadline)
- Would mean 4 years between Aquaman films
Will Smith will not return for The Suicide Squad – Variety
- “Sources say scheduling was the ultimate factor and that the decision was made on amicable terms between both sides with no hard feelings.”
- James Gunn wants to start filming this fall
- Justin Kroll added on Twitter – “sources say execs are now deciding whether they will recast the role or replace Deadshot with a different character from the DC universe to join the team in sequel”
Michael Disco to be a producer on The Flash movie – (The Hollywood Reporter)
- Disco recently left his position as an exec at New Line to start his own production company, The Disco Factory
WB moves up the release date for The Kitchen – (Deadline)
- Had been scheduled for September 20, 2019, now releasing August 9, 2019

- Doesn’t seem to be massive changes from merger, it helps that WB had a big year
- He thinks the upcoming DC movies are on the right track
- There is more emphasis on individual characters right now than originally planned, but they aren’t ruling out being more connected down the line

- Trae Romano as Mike Dugan, Courtney’s new step-brother

Joshua Orpin cast as Conner Kent/Superboy in Titans – (Deadline)
- Will be a series regular role
- “Superboy, aka Conner Kent, is the angsty teenager of steel searching for purpose and the truth about his past. While looking for answers, he crashes into the world of the Titans where he finds an unlikely home and surrogate family as well as revelations that carry more complications than he ever bargained for.”
Doom Patrol – DC Comics
- Basically it is in the same universe as Titans, but they aren’t really worried about continuity and aren’t planning crossovers
- EP Sarah Schechter says they have a bigger budget than the CW shows
