  • Trailer shows Justice League, Shazam! And Teen Titans Go! To The Movies on movie side plus Doom Patrol and Batwoman on TV
  • Business Insider – “WarnerMedia still plans to offer DC Universe as a standalone service as it prepares HBO Max for launch”
  • HBO Max will have some/(all?) DC Universe programming

Several characters from past seasons of Arrow  to return for the 8th and final season

  • Likely from across the multiverse or maybe different time periods
  • Colin Donnell (Tommy Merlyn) and Josh Segarra (Adrian Chase/Prometheus) will be in the premiere – Entertainment Weekly
  • GreenArrowTV.com – Susanna Thompson (Moira Queen/Oliver’s Mom) to return in the premiere
  • Many more likely to come

Arrowverse quick nuggets

  • (TV Line) Mehcad Brooks (James Olsen) will be departing Supergirl at some point in early Season 5 to focus on other projects
  • (TV Line) Jeremy Jordan (Winn Schott) will return for 3 episodes of Supergirl Season 5 after the crossover
  • (TV Line) Andrea Brooks (Eve Tessmacher) and Azie Tesfai (Kelly Olsen) promoted to series regulars
  • (Syfy Wire) Keiynan Lonsdale (Wally West/Kid Flash) will return to The Flash for multiple episodes

  • Plot details or release date not yet revealed, though it is expected for the fall

DC Animated movies for 2020 announced

  • First to be released – Superman: Red Son, based on the Elseworlds where baby Kal-El lands in the USSR in the 1950s
  • Spring – Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, a sequel to Justice League Dark. Will the Justice League and New Gods appear (Follow-up to Reign of the Supermen credits scene?)
  • Final film – Superman: Man of Tomorrow, “a fully original story featuring a young Superman early in his career.” 
  • Will also continue the return of DC Showcase shorts – Adam Strange, Death, The Phantom Stranger and Batman: Death in the Family

Doom Patrol officially renewed for Season 2

  • Will appear on both DC Universe and HBO Max

Season 2 of Titans to debut September 6, only on DC Universe (Twitter)

  • I’m guessing it will also be on HBO Max in the spring

Young Justice has been renewed for Season 4 – (Twitter)

  • No info given about release date

Crisis on Infinite Earths 

Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh to portray Superman in Crisis on Infinite Earths – Deadline

  • Is Routh portaying the Superman from Superman Returns (continuation of Christopher Reeve) or just another version?
  • Will they address that he looks like Ray from Legends of Tomorrow?
  • The Wrap’s Umberto Gonzalez on Twitter – says he is playing “Kingdom Come Superman”; does he mean Earth-2? Routh showed up at Arrow panel with a Kingdom Come-style shirt on
  • Deadline implies they are playing the same Superman in different time frames, do they mean different Earths?
  • No word on how many episodes each will appear in

Burt Ward (Robin/Dick Grayson in 60s Batman TV) to make an appearance (The Wrap)

  • Unknown if he will be reprising the role or how involved he will be

LaMonica Garrett (Monitor) will also play the Anti-Monitor for Crisis

  • The villain of Crisis on Infinite Earths

Tom Cavanaugh (Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne) will also be playing Pariah in Crisis – (TV Guide on Twitter)

  • Sounds like he could appear on The Flash before crisis
  • Pariah was created specifically for the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic; he is forces from one universe to the next as they are destroyed
  • Season 6 of The Flash will have 2 arcs with different big bads – one before and after crisis

Jon Cryer to return as Lex Luthor for “Crisis on Infinite Earths”

  • “In fact, yesterday I pitched to the network what the story was going to be and the best part of the pitch, we have a board that DC made up for me, which is covers from key issues of Crisis on Infinite Earths. And we’re like, ‘We’re gonna do our version of this, we’re gonna do our version of this, we’re gonna do our version of this.’ Our goal is, the thing we’ve been saying, is we’re going to make a list of a 100 cool things that we want to do.
