James Gunn and Peter Safran will be the new heads of DC Film, TV, and animation effective November 1 – The Hollywood Reporter

  • DC Studios will form (compared to DC Films)
  • 4 year deals, Gunn will be the creative, Safran dealing with business and production
  • Gunn will be exclusive to DC and still direct films
  • Their job is to “develop a long-term strategy across film, TV, and animation, and take this iconic franchise to the next level of creative storytelling.”
