Jonathan and Jordan Kent cast/Superman: Lois and Clark

Casting for The CW’s Superman & Lois has begun, including the twin boys. We discuss that plus the Superman: Lois and Clark comic book series, which could serve as inspiration for the show.

Clark and Lois’s twin sons have been cast – Deadline

  • Jordan Elsass will play Jonathan, who “is clean-cut, modest and kind-hearted, with an aw-shucks attitude that somehow doesn’t seem dated.”
  • Elsass is in Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere mini-series with Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon. 
  • Alexander Garfin will play Jordan, who “is wildly intelligent, but his mercurial temperament and social anxiety limits his interactions with people, and consequently, Jordan prefers to spend most of his free time alone, playing video games.”
  • Garfin voiced Linus in The Peanuts Movie, appeared in 2 episodes of Law & Order: SVU
  • Jordan – likely named after Jor-El?; WHTTMOT
