Season 2 news, Lucy Lane to appear

Season 2 of The CW’s Superman & Lois is rapidly approaching, with a January release date announced. We discuss that plus a UK release for Season 1, The CW’s Armageddon event, Jenna Dewan appearing in Season 2 as Lucy Lane, and more on this episode of Superman & Lois: The New Adventures podcast.

Season 2 will premiere Tuesday, January 11 – (The CW on Twitter)

  • Moves to 8 p.m. time slot
  • All of Season 1 should be available on The CW’s website until 30 days before Season 2, then only 5 episodes will be available (Deadline 2019)

BBC acquires the UK broadcast rights for Superman & Lois Season 1

  • Will air on BBC One starting Saturday, December 4 at 5:40 pm
  • Will also be available on their iPlayer streaming service
  • Most watched TV channel in the UK

Tyler Hoechlin was approached to appear on The CW’s Armageddon event – The Flash Podcast

  • Interview with The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace
  • “I called Tyler up, I’ve known him since my Teen Wolf days, and said ‘Hey, Tyler, can I run a favor past you?’, We tried and he wanted so badly to be on this, but he did say to me, ‘I’ll give you some good news. Eric, I’m so sorry, because of scheduling conflicts and COVID, I can’t do Armageddon. But I owe you one and I’ll be on your show the next time you call’ and I said ‘ I’m going to hold you to that! ’ [laughs] So hopefully we’ll get him because again, I’ve known Tyler for years. He’s such an incredible guy and Bitsie [Tulloch who plays Lois Lane on Superman & Lois] who I met on Crisis on Infinite Earths. She’s just a sweetheart, I can’t wait to have them over on The Flash.
