  • Season 4 introduced Agent Liberty, Raymond Jensen version of Parasite, Mercy and Otis Graves, and Manchester Black

Justice League Action

  • Season 1 wrapped in June, no news on a potential Season 2

January

30 – Metropolis TV/streaming series put into development for DC Universe

  • Set in Metropolis before the arrival of Superman
  • A series supposed to “follow Lois Lane and Lex Luthor as they investigate the world of fringe science and expose the city’s dark and bizarre secrets.”
  • Was given a 13-episode order
  • Supposed to be DC Universe’s second live-action show after Titans
  • Deadline – As of May, the show was put in “redevelopment” and there has been no updated news

March

21 – Krypton debuts on Syfy

  • 10 episode Season 1 from March to May

April

18 – Action Comics #1000/80th anniversary of Action Comics #1

  • Wraps up Dan Jurgens’ latest Action Comics run and Peter Tomasi/Patrick Gleason Superman run
  • Several great short stories
  • “The Car” written by Geoff Johns and Richard Donner, Olivier Coipel on art
  • Introduction of Brian Michael Bendis on Superman
  • Led to The Man of Steel 6-issue mini-series and Bendis taking over Action Comics #1001 and a new Superman #1

July

24 – The Death of Superman animated movie
